At Banglo 289, we take pride in being a leader in authentic Malay cuisine,
bringing the true taste of Masakan Kampung to life. Every dish is freshly
cooked daily, using only the finest raw ingredients — all handpicked from
various pasar every morning, seven days a week.
We stay true to tradition, just like our grandparents did. There are no
shortcuts in our kitchen — no santan kotak, only fresh santan perah. We
use real cili hidup, peel kunyit by hand each morning, and never rely on
artificial flavorings like kiub ayam or Tumix powder.
